Dell Axim X51 PDA (RESOLVED)
Long story short, I came across a PDA, and got a charger for it. After charging for half an hour, I turned it on. It ran fine until the battery died.
I charged it overnight, and awoke to find the screen on, as well as all of the LEDs. Tried pulling battery and doing hard reset. Still busted.
Ideas?

It makes for a good MP3 player, video player, web browser, etc.
It's running Windows Mobile 6.1.

RE: Dell Axim X51 PDA broke
So why not use a nice phone?

So it's frozen on a blank screen with the LEDs on? Only portable device I've seen do that was a phone, and the memory was corrupt on that. Any more info?

Actually, I found the problem using a multimeter. The inside of the battery ruptured, and is shorting out on the casing.
Simply put, needs new battery.

Well that was easy. New battery shouldn't be too much if you look around.
