Did you mean virtualizing?

RE: Running on Ubuntu (cannot execute binary file)
I am indeed running it on a 32-bit installation. Thanks for the info! I can still play it on my Windows partition or through Wine, so it's no big deal.

That's always the little problem, when a dev has windows he'd need to find out a good solution for other platforms.

The same problem would occur if you wrote something for only Linux or only Mac. o.O It's just for common for games since Windows is more of a gaming platform than Linux or Mac.

RE: Running on Ubuntu (cannot execute binary file)
Something exciting in the near (couple months) future is automated binaries for all 3 platforms. Continuous integration. Some lucky supporters might even get access to nightly or continuous builds.

Secret's out. Cool

I just think like this: Windows is games, mac is for work, linux is..? And I've never heard about someone using ubuntu.

Linux is can do anything Windows and Mac can do, that is, when the software is made compatible. The reason that Linux is often not seen as a viable gaming platform is that developers don't want to put their software on a platform the the majority of people don't use, and people don't want to use a platform that the majority of developers don't support. It's the whole chicken and the egg thing. Linux is growing though, mostly among nerds and friends of nerds...
