XBone BC update
As of November 12th, the Xbox One will be "backwards compatible."

WHAT WE THOUGHT IT MEANT:
"I'll just put in Halo and play it."

WHAT IT REALLY MEANT:
"I'll just put the disc in and download the entire game as a repackaged ISO from the marketplace, and that's if it's a selected title that we were lucky enough for them to pick."

The Semantics of it:
The Xbox One will NOT BE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE.
Instead;
Certain games will be CONVERTED TO THE XBONE FORMAT.

TL;DR A few forwards compatible 360 games, NOT a backwards compatible system.

Wink

I'd argue that playstation's game streaming service is better than that.

I play too many games at once.

RE: XBone BC update
Game Streaming != Backwards Compatibility (directly anyway, since I know they could/do stream older titles)

Backwards compatibility is pretty derp on consoles nowadays. PCs on the other hand...

RE: XBone BC update
I know it's not the same, though I'd choose a more fully fledged streaming service over very limited sort of psudeo-backwards compatability.

I play too many games at once.

RE: XBone BC update
The other difference between this and Playstation Now is you don't pay a fee to do it.
Also, not streamed, so you save on bandwidth.
