Phone upgrade
Old phone had an aneurysm, so I've upgraded from a Motorola RAZR Maxx (Android 4.1.2) to a Samsung Galaxy S5. (Android 5.0)
Smoother interface, better performance, but I miss my menu button. Sad
Edit: -and root access.

Forever vigilent.

RE: Phone upgrade
My old phone broke a while ago so I had to take over my father's old one--an iPhone 4... ;(
I'm waiting for some newer phones to come out before I decide on my next phone, but I don't like that companies seem to be moving towards thinner phones. They're not as comfortable in my opinion.
If the next gen phones are all going to be thinner than before, then I might end up getting a phone tablet.

I play too many games at once.

RE: Phone upgrade
I'm still rockin' a prepaid Samsung flip phone... Newer phones are just ridiculously expensive (in terms of monthly contracts and such)... $60 a month adds up to $720 a year...

RE: Phone upgrade
My contract is for $30 a month, is no longer available for purchase, yet is equivalent to a $40 contract the same company has. You could also try buying a phone without a contract. They're more expensive, but if you could get a cheap contract elsewhere that might be cheaper.

RE: Phone upgrade
I realize I'm a bit late to the party, but to chime in, Werido has a point. Buying a nice phone and picking your carrier yourself is cheaper overall. I bought an ASUS Zenfone 2 and I'm on T-mobile (who has a $40/month unlimited* everything plan), but T-mobile doesn't offer the phone directly.

I'm sure that's still more expensive than your prepaid phone, but having a modern phone ends up being more useful than you think it will be once you actually get to using it. Tongue
